Emily Mellion, D.D.S.
Dr. Emily Mellion is the owner of Keystone Pediatric Dentistry. It is very important to her that each patient and family experiences a warm and inviting atmosphere and excellent service where communication and ethics are priority.
Dr. Emily grew up in southern Ohio. She completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Dayton and went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) at The Ohio State University. Immediately after dental school she completed a one year advanced education in dentistry residency at Southern Illinois University. After working as a general dentist for a year she realized her passion was in serving the pediatric and adolescent population.

Dr. Emily pursued her specialty field in a two year residency in pediatric dentistry at Case Western Reserve University/Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, where she served as the Chief Resident.
During her residency she had advanced training in treating patients under sedation, helped families with children that have special medical and behavioral needs, and participated in outreach programs in Northeast Ohio that provided dental treatment to the underserved.

Dr. Emily is committed to giving back to others and enjoys volunteering in the community. She has provided dental care on three medical mission trips to third world countries and plans to continue to participate on these trips throughout her career.

Outside of her professional career, Dr. Emily enjoys traveling, road cycling, running, and crafting. She also loves spending time with her husband, orthodontist Dr. Alex Mellion, and their three daughters Margaret, Catherine and Elizabeth.
Katie Kochenour, D.M.D.
Dr. Katie Kochenour grew up in Springfield, MO. She followed in her dad’s footsteps entering the dental profession. Her husband, Nick, is an orthodontist and divides his time between his private practice in Vermilion, OH and the Craniofacial Team at Akron Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Katie, Dr. Nick, Michael and Johnny welcomed the addition of twins Annie and Drew to their family in September 2022!
Dr. Katie graduated from University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2011 and spent 6 years as a general practice dentist before returning to school at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital for her pediatric dental training. She most recently has been part of the pediatric dental team at Akron Children’s hospital.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. Dr. Katie is also an avid sports fan! She is extremely loyal to the St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs, and Kansas Jayhawks but has also embraced the Cleveland sports teams.
